• Your WEBCT ID and password have already been created for you.

  Your WebCT ID is your SJSU User ID, which is of the form

  "W"+7digitnumber

  For examle, if your Student User Identification Number were W1234567 you would enter

  W1234567

  as your WebCT ID.

  Your password is: fall.

  You may change this password later, but don't be a hurry to do so until you are familiar and confident of the procedures of the website.

• You start the login process by entering URL for the WebCT site for the course

  Note that there is not a www in this URL.

• When you access the URL for a course you see a screen that says Welcome Page and has two buttons; one for Login and one for Cancel. Click Login.

  You will be taken to a screen that has boxes for your WebCT ID and your password.

  Enter your WebCT ID and password.

  Click on LOGIN to continue the process.

• You will be taken to the proper website. Once in the site you can click on an Icon to view material.
