Center for Faculty Development

The SJSU Center for Faculty Development (CFD) offers opportunities for professional development for all faculty. The Center's goal is to advance curriculum, pedagogy and technology to enhance instruction; encourage scholarly inquiry into college teaching and learning; and enhance faculty careers.

The Academic Technology Support Department at the CSU Office of the Chancellor has developed and supports resources to help the CSU faculty, staff, students, and administrators be more successful in teaching and learning. The CSU OCELOT site (Online Center for Excellence in Learning and Online Teaching) is a collection of collections of online teaching and learning resources developed by the CSU for CSU faculty, staff, students and administrators.

You can access your Lotus Notes account (calendar, email, and addresses) from any computer with an Internet connection and web browser.

PeopleSoft CMS Project

The Common Management Systems (CMS) Project is a CSU system-wide initiative to deliver state-of-the-art services to students, faculty, and staff through better administrative software systems. The new software, PeopleSoft, is an integrated product that provides human resource, finance and student administration systems.

Provost's Office

The Vice President and Provost of the university is the chief academic officer of the university. The provost is charged with overseeing education, research, and public service. The provost also has oversight responsibility for issues associated with the recruiting, hiring, retention, and performance of faculty and for the university's promotion and tenure process.
