WSCUC Special Visit

WSCUC Special Visit Report
San José State University (SJSU) is preparing for a Special Visit from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), scheduled for April 9–11, 2025. This visit is a crucial step in our continuous commitment to academic excellence, institutional effectiveness, and student success. As part of this process, SJSU has submitted a Special Visit Report, which outlines our progress in addressing recommendations from the last accreditation review, our institutional growth, and our ongoing efforts to enhance student achievement and equity. We encourage our students, faculty, staff, and community members to review this report to stay informed about the university’s progress and future goals.

Email the WSCUC Team
SJSU is hosting a site visit by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) on April 9-11, 2025 in connection with its accreditation. The team typically schedules open meetings with staff, and faculty to provide an opportunity for informal input from all members of the campus community about their experiences with the institution. WSCUC understands that not everyone who may wish to participate can attend these meetings, and has therefore established a confidential email account to give everyone the opportunity to communicate with the team. The email account is created by a WSCUC staff member and only authorized WSCUC staff and team members have access to it. The emails are not viewed by any representative of the institution. The email account is created for this visit only and will be closed once the WSCUC team leaves the campus. Only comments made before or during the visit will be considered as part of the review process.
