The Bursar's Office processes the collection and disbursement of funds for students,
employees, and external agencies. The Bursar's Office handles student fee payments,
disburse scholarship and alternative loan checks, sells Commuter and Housing parking
permits, provides financial counseling and establishes payment arrangements for balances
owed to the university.

The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office connects students with federal and state funding, campus scholarship opportunities, and other off-campus resources. The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office processes grants, loans, the federal work-study process, and scholarships.
Spartan Food Pantry
Diaz Compean Student Union (exterior entrance across from Engineering Rotunda)
This pantry is aimed at students who are experiencing financial difficulties and require assistance in acquiring food. The Spartan Food Pantry is a full-service, staffed, at SJSU offering non-perishable goods, fresh produce, and refrigerated items.
Scholarships
The College of the Humanities and the Arts and Departments within the College awards scholarships based on academic performance, community contribution, and dedication to upholding the spirit of the humanities and the arts at SJSU.
Students in the College of the Humanities and the Arts may apply for scholarship opportunities through the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office (FASO). Scholarship cycles open annually during the summer.
