Silicon Valley’s annual indie film festival returns to the Hammer March 12-16, 2025. Cinequest fuses innovation with the arts to empower great creations and engages audiences, youth, artists, and innovators with these creations and with each other forging community, joy, and our future. This film festival’s uniqueness, impact, and legacy result from applying this powerful integration of creativity, technology, and community to inspire and transform lives.
New Ballet Presents
‘Fast Forward 2025’
Fast Forward provides the opportunity for emerging choreographers, both local and from around the country, to experiment. The chance to dance with works that have been created specifically for them, rather than for dancers who performed hundreds of years ago, allows New Ballet’s Company Dancers to grow as artists and to be part of the creative process. Audiences will be thrilled and inspired watching choreographic and dance artists take risks and create.
South Bay Guitar Society presents
‘David Russel Guitar Virtuoso In Concert’
After winning a Grammy, the town of Nigrán in Spain where he resides, honored him with a town medal. Today Russell tours the world and appears regularly at prestigious halls in New York, London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Madrid, Toronto and Rome, captivating concertgoers with his musical genius and captivating stage presence. His love of his art resonates through his flawless and seemingly effortless performances. The attention to detail and provocative lyrical phrasing suggest his innate understanding of what each composer sought and bring a sense of adventure to each piece.
