At its meeting today, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Engineering 285/87, the Academic Senate will discuss resolutions on implementing an annual outstanding lecturer award; academic qualifications for student office holders; and a few changes to the membership of specified senate committees. Senate Chair Annette Nellen reports that there will also be two presentations: a brief overview on SJSU's History and how we celebrated our centennial (at 1:45 p.m. before the meeting officially starts); and another on information literacy (at 4:40 p.m.).
