A new book by E. Bruce Reynolds, professor of history, Thailand's Secret War: OSS, SOE and the Free Thai Underground During World War II, was recently published by Cambridge University Press. The book examines efforts by Thai abroad and at home to salvage the nation's independence. threatened by their government's alliance with Japan, through cooperation with Allied intelligence agencies.
