On Tuesday and Wednesday, August 23 and 24, the Center for Faculty Development and Support will offer orientation sessions for new lecturers, reports Mary Jo Gorney-Moreno, director of the center and associate vice president of academic technology. "The sessions provide an opportunity for new lecturers to become more familiar with university policies, practices and the resources available to support them and their students, and to develop collegial relationships with other lecturers," says Gorney-Moreno.
