The planning committee for Welcome Week, which begins Fri., Aug. 22 with the Convocation and continues through Fri., Aug. 29, has requested information on what other campus departments are doing to welcome new students. According to Gina Lorenzo, coordinator for student organization development and special programs for the Student Life Center, the committee would like to have all activities, such as open houses, receptions, fairs, showcases, etc., listed in a master calendar in order to more effectively publicize and communicate with students and the campus community.
