Brian Gore, an SJSU Foundation senior research associate, has received the Arch Colwell Merit Award from the Society of Automotive Engineers. His paper was judged the best of 3,300 submissions. His work focused on human performance in the International Space Station. Read more.

Two SJSU pieces were featured in the Southwestern Regional American College Dance Festival gala concert at San Francisco State University. The two works were "Three Wise Monkeys" by Jill Yager, a lecturer for the School of Music and Dance, and "No Strings" by graduating senior Shannon Hanly. A total of 11 works were selected from among 50 submissions.
