An SJSU professor behind efforts to remove junk food from public vending machines will kick off a new initiative, Healthy San Jos?? State 2010, with a summit beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, at the King Library, Room 225. Marjorie Freedman, assistant professor of nutrition and food science, aims to increase awareness and promote campus change regarding nutrition and health among students, faculty and staff.
