The SJSU Campus Reading Program is encouraging the university community to spend the summer reading the next campus reading selection, Drinking Coffee Elsewhere by ZZ Packer. A Bay Area author, Packer will be on campus in spring 2008 as the Lurie Distinguished Chair in Creative Writing. Drinking Coffee Elsewhere is on sale at the Spartan Bookstore for $9.99. Freshmen will receive a copy during orientation as a gift from President Kassing. Employees can borrow a copy of the book from the Office of Undergraduate Studies (Administration 159). More.
