Look for SJSU at the San Jos?? Grand Prix, which begins Friday, July 27, and supports the Canary Foundation, which raises funds for cancer research. Lucille Surdi, a cancer survivor and San Jos?? State ADA compliance specialist, is encouraging the campus community to participate in the foundation's "Light the Way to Early Detection Track Walk," which will begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 25. "This twilight memorial walking lap will symbolically light the way as we recognize the strides being made in the early detection of cancer," the foundation said.
