Kenneth Marcus, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights staff director, will speak on "Anti-Israelism and Anti-Semitism on American College Campuses" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, in the Music Concert Hall. The event is free, open to the public and sponsored by the Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, Northern California Regional Coalition. Read more.

Felipe Fernandez-Armesto, one of the world's most respected and recognized global history scholars, will speak at noon Friday, November 16, in King 225/229. His book, "Millennium: A History of the Last Thousand Years," inspired a ten-part CNN series. His speech entitled "Experiencing Conquest: Natives' Views of Spaniards in the 16th Century New World" is free, open to the public and sponsored by the history department. Read more.
