Kenneth Marcus, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights staff director, will speak on "Anti-Israelism and Anti-Semitism on American College Campuses" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, in the Music Concert Hall. Felipe Fernandez-Armesto, one of the world's most respected and recognized global history scholars, will speak at noon Friday, November 16, in King 225/229. His book, "Millennium: A History of the Last Thousand Years," inspired a ten-part CNN series. His speech entitled "Experiencing Conquest: Natives' Views of Spaniards in the 16th Century New World" is free, open to the public and sponsored by the history department. Read more.
