Nearly 100 student teams will compete in the Silicon Valley Neat Ideas Fair, which will be held Thursday, November 29, at the Student Union's Barrett Ballroom. The teams will fill the ballroom with exhibits presenting their ideas for great new products and services. Venture capitalists, top academics and business writers will review the displays and provide feedback. The Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship at the College of Business sponsors the event, now in its fourth year. The fair, which is free and open to the public, begins at 10 a.m. Cash prizes will be awarded at 5 p.m. for Best Exhibit, Best Social Innovation, Best Elevator Pitch and Best Executive Summary.
