San Jos?? State University will be well represented at the AT&T 2008 Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament, February 4-10. SJSU will have a tent at the tournament's entrance. And for the third year running, an SJSU student team will manage all tournament food concessions and corporate hospitality areas. More than 100 students total have participated in the program. Nearly 20 alumni now work at Pebble Beach.
Celebrating the program's success, SJSU will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, overlooking the famed 18th green and the Pacific Ocean. SJSU will also offer behind-the-scenes tours featuring the student management team, assembled annually by Rich Larson, a lecturer in SJSU's Department of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism Management. The open house is free to tournament ticket holders.
