Are you a scientist seeking funding? Or do you need help publicizing your research? If so, please consider registering now for two worthwhile events coming this March to San José State. On Thursday, March 13, the SJSU Research Foundation will offer a workshop, "NSF Day at SJSU." An entire team of National Science Foundation people will come to campus to talk about their agency's mission, priorities, budget, cross-disciplinary programs, and proposal and merit review processes. The event is free and open to the campus community. Pre-register by Thursday, March 6.

On Friday, March 14, the NSF, American Association for the Advancement of Science and San José State will offer a second workshop, "Communicating Science: Tools for Scientists and Engineers." A hands-on media and public relations bootcamp, the workshop will teach researchers how to share their findings with the general public as requested by many funding agencies. The event is free and open to science and engineering faculty and doctoral students. Pre-register by Wednesday, March 5.
