San José State was well represented at the 36th annual Santa Clara County Human Relations Awards Breakfast. Wiggsy Sivertsen was given the James P. McEntee Lifetime Achievement Award and Student Advocates for Higher Education, an SJSU student group, received the Youth Leadership Award. Sivertsen, a personal counselor with SJSU Counseling Services, is a lifelong gay rights activist. Student Advocates for Higher Education is a support group for undocumented students.
