Challenges brought on by California's budget shortfall are forcing California State University to limit enrollment on all 23 campuses for the first time in history. "Systemwide impaction," the technical term for enrollment caps, will affect all prospective students. Please note the application deadline for students who intend to enroll as freshmen at San José State in fall 2009 is November 30, 2008. Deadlines for other applicant groups and campuses vary.
