Aimee Bender, author of two short story collections and a novel, will read, participate in a question and answer session, and sign books at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in King 225/229. The San José State Center for Literary Arts will sponsor her appearance.

Patricia Lawicki, Pacific Gas & Electric senior vice president and chief information officer, is next in the Silicon Valley Leaders Symposium sponsored by the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering. She will present "A Day In The Life Of A Utility On The Road To Being Green" at noon Thursday, March 5, in Engineering 189.

Reese Erlich, journalist and author of the book The Iran Agenda: The Real Story of U.S. Policy and the Middle East Crisis will present "Prospects for US-Iran Relations in the Obama Administration: New Directions or Status Quo?" at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in King 255/257.
