California State University Chancellor Charles B. Reed and U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan recently taped an interview for the TV program, Education News Parents Can Use. The segment, "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act: Keeping Teachers Teaching and Students Learning," focuses on the federal stimulus package's impact on education. Reed and Duncan also discuss President Obama's initiative aimed at helping America claim the highest college-graduation rate in the world by 2020. The program will be aired at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 by Dish Network, PBS stations and cable outlets. Or watch a webcast.
