Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Campbell will be in conversation with Professor Larry Gerston for the fall 2009 Don Edwards Lecture in Politics and History. The event will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, in Morris Dailey Auditorium. Campbell is a former congressman, state senator, and state finance director. He was dean of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and taught at Stanford Law School. Read more on the event.
Douglas Osheroff, 1996 Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics and Stanford University professor, is first in the fall 2009 Silicon Valley Leaders Symposium. Osheroff will present "How are Advances in Science Made?" at noon Thursday, September 17, in Engineering 189. Hosted by the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering, this event is free and open to the public. Read more on the symposium.
