Learn to make simple, smart health and budget choices at downtown San José's new Safeway. SJSU Nutrition Education Action Team tours will start at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, October 14 and 15, near Clark Hall's front entrance. The team selected that spot because it is home to Spartan Smart Cart, which offers fresh fruits and veggies from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. According to a CSU Chancellor's Office employee update, the message to prospective students to apply early for fall 2010 admission is resonating as a record 25,563 applications were submitted online within the first 24 hours of the priority application period. Read more.
