President Jon Whitmore will travel to Washington, D. C., this week to participate in the annual CSU Hill Day, Wednesday, March 3. He will join a systemwide contingent including Chancellor Reed, campus presidents, trustees and campus liaisons who will speak with federal legislators about CSU priority research and workforce training initiatives. Whitmore will personally meet with Representatives Mike Honda and Zoe Lofgren, and staff members of Senator Barbara Boxer and Representative Sam Farr. Federal support is important to advance CSU programs.
