And the winner is... drum roll, please...maybe you! "Ecological Footprint Challenge Results and Celebrating a Year in Sustainability," the ninth and final workshop in this year's Sustainability Matters lecture series, will begin at noon Thursday, May 13, in Engineering 285. This event is sponsored by the Office of the President.

"Our agenda will include announcing the winners of this year's challenge and presenting the results of preliminary data analysis ... We will also break up into small groups to discuss the impact of the workshop series in light of its three main goals: 1) to educate attendees on contemporary sustainability topics; 2) to energize attendees to take action; and 3) to provide attendees with mechanisms for engaging in action at the personal or organizational level," wrote Director of Sustainability Katherine Cushing.

Cushing will host the event with Matt Lambert, an environmental studies master's degree candidate. Refreshments will be served. All SJSU students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
