The annual competition provides SJSU students with the opportunity
to get feedback on their ideas from judges, professors, peers, and
industry professionals.

The 2010 Silicon Valley Business Plan Competition will culminate Wednesday, May 26, with a final round of judging. Open to San Jose State faculty, staff, students and alumni, the contest supports innovation by offering $18,000 in prizes, with the stipulation that 75 percent of the money be used to start new ventures. Judges include venture capitalists and business executives. The event is sponsored by the Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship within the College of Business. Past winners include Veggielution, Rate-The-Test.com, and DoCause, a social network for activists.
