The comprehensive public relations campaign for the opening of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library has won the 2004 Best of Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America. "The results achieved by this program underscore the important role public relations plays in shaping public opinion in today's society," said PRSA President and CEO Del Galloway. Kelly Womer, award chair and senior counselor, said that the King Library campaign "represents the best of the best in public relations campaigns from the past year and symbolizes what the Silver Anvil Awards are all about." University Library Dean Patricia Breivik was presented with the award in New York last week. See http://www.prsa.org/_Awards/main/.
