Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7, King Library study hours for SJSU patrons will be extended from 10 p.m. to midnight on Mondays through Thursdays, reports Dean Patricia Breivik. "We were able to provide this additional service for our students thanks to the passage of an increase in the Instructional Related Activities fee," says Breivik. A valid Tower card will be required to enter the building. Breivik notes that floors 2 and 4 through 8 will provide students with access to collections, public computers and research terminals, laptop port connections, copiers and ample study space. The lower level, ground floor, and the third floor will be closed. There will be no course reserves, circulation functions or self checkout machines.
