Website deployment consists of a process that ensures websites meet accessibility and university standards. When you think you are ready to launch your website, abide by these steps.

Website Check

  1. Utilize the suggestions for accessibility
  2. Check-in all pages on the website
  3. Remove all unnecessary pages, files and folders
  4. Review the site index

 

Contact Web & Application Development

  1. Submit the website launch request form and refrain from making changes to the website until it is launched

 

Website Evaluating, Problem Solving and Launching

  1. The Web and Application Development team will evaluate and test the website for usability and accessibility. An evaluation report will be produced within 10 business days detailing the issues of the website
  2. The website creator will resolve the issues presented in the report. The website will go through the evaluation process again
  3. When all issues are resolved, a launch date is determined and the website is launched
  4. If there is a website with the same URL, then migration of the URL redirections from the old website are handled by Web and Application Development
