Matthew Maguire is an assistant professor in the School of Management at San José State University. His interests lie broadly in the fields of comparative political economy, business-government relations, and corporate social responsibility. Matt holds a Ph.D. in political science from Boston University, an M.Sc. in comparative politics from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. in history from Cornell University. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe for fieldwork and has held visiting positions at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne and the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna. His current work examines the relationship between public policy and CSR in the case of corporate non-financial reporting.
