We are currently inviting applications from interested students to serve as SJSU Salzburg Scholars in 2018-2019. As in past years, the Summer Salzburg Global Citizenship Program will be the centerpiece of scholars' year long leadership in initiatives to globalize our campus. Currently, Scholars participate in Salzburg Global Citizenship activities through a summer faculty led program. The program application page will be open from October 30 to December 18, 2017. Information about this opportunity, with links to the electronic application, can be found at the Salzburg Global Citizenship Program Page. Note important dates for the Summer 2018 Salzburg Global Citizenship Faculty Led Program at this link. Contact Faculty Lead and Salzburg Fellow Bobbi Makani for more information! We are also inviting inquiries from interested faculty, staff, and administrators to serve as SJSU Salzburg Fellows. The Fellows program is an opportunity for colleagues to broaden their awareness of critical global issues and enhance the greater good of San José State University. Fellows represent SJSU at intensive week-long sessions of the Global Citizenship Alliance and spend the following academic year working on a variety of projects to help promote global citizenship, improve the campus, and strengthen their own abilities to live and work in a complex interconnected world. If you are interested or have any questions, please send a note to the Salzburg Program. |
