Center for Asian Pacific Islander Student Empowerment (CAPISE)

Supporting the academic and personal development of our diverse Asian and Pacific Islander community while fostering a sense of belonging.

SSS TRIO (ASPIRE) Program

We provide holistic support to first generation and/or low income, disabled and underrepresented students. 

 

The Black Leadership and Opportunity Center (BLOC)

Strengthening and building community bonds, encouraging a positive Black identity, and providing social, career readiness, and academic support for student success.

Chicanx/Latinx Student Success Center (Centro)

Centro is an identity-based center aimed at providing Latinx/a/o students the resources and individualized support needed to thrive academically and earn their degrees.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP

We provide support services to help first-generation, limited-income students succeed at SJSU.

Guardian Scholars

Cultivating community through connection to resources and support services for students who have experienced Foster Care and other Independent Living situations.

 

McNair Scholars Program

We help first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students prepare for and apply to doctoral programs.

Native American Indigenous Student Success Center

Visit NAISSC in the 1st floor of Clark Hall by the EOP lounge.

Hours of operation: Monday - Thursday: 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Fridays: 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
