Dear Management Team:

Pursuant to Section 42740 of Title 5, California Code of Regulations, all Management Personnel Plan (MPP) and Executive Employees (President/Vice Presidents) are required to identify any conflict of commitment that would interfere with California State University (CSU) work assignments and employee performance.

Outside employment of an MPP or Executive Employee shall not conflict with normal work assignments or satisfactory performance. Outside employment refers to any employment not compensated through CSU payroll, including CSU foundation and CSU auxiliary employment. Volunteer work does not apply to this policy. More information can be found on the MPP Outside Employment page on the UP website.
