Updated Monthly challenge – Enjoying more of the outdoors

The Air 1,000 challenge invites you to exercise outside for 1,000 minutes during August! That’s an average of 32 minutes a day. You can do any exercise you want as long as you do it outdoors. So take a walk, jump in the pool, mow your lawn, or work in your garden. Exercising outdoors can increase your energy level and help you feel rejuvenated. Nature has a calming effect, in fact spending a few minutes outside clears your head and helps you think better. So get out there and enjoy the fresh air this summer!

Forest bathing: What it is and why you should try it. Stress is a part of everyday life. But too much stress can take a toll on your mind and body. Feeling stressed for long periods of time can lead to depression, increased anxiety, and even physical symptoms like body aches. One simple way to manage stress is spending time in nature, also known as forest bathing. Learn more about forest bathing and get some ideas to get you and your loved ones outside! Here are some additional outdoor activities to explore.
