All in-person meetings are conducted in the Engineering building on the 1st floor in ENG 116. Bring your student Tower ID card to check in. Service is first-come, first-served and availability is subject to change. View our drop-in calendars first:

Undergraduate drop-in advising

Undergraduate students should email success-engineering@sjsu.edu;  whereas, graduate students should  graduate-engineering@sjsu.edu

Include your SJSU student ID number in all communication and a concise description of your issue or question.  Attach any supporting documents or screenshots.

Response time varies depending on volume and staffing. 

Make an appointment

Appointments are services such as Major advising, hold removal, academic notice, transfer equivalency petitions, and more. Appointments, made via Spartan Connect, can be virtual via Zoom or in-person at the ESSC office ENG 116.

During Winter and Summer sessions, the ESSC has limited appointment availability, so attend drop-in advising.
