Tuition Refund Policy

The tuition refund policy for all International Gateways programs is as follows:

  • The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All refunds are issued with a $75 USD processing fee.
  • 100% tuition refund less a $75 processing fee will be granted for withdrawal requests received in writing before the first day of the program marked on your I-20 (the first day of orientation).
  • 75% tuition refund less a $75 processing fee will be granted for withdrawal requests received in writing during the orientation days and first two days of classes.
  • No refund for any reason past the 2nd day of instruction on the SJSU academic calendar for the SAS program.
  • Written refund requests must be emailed to IGateways Admissions igateways-admission@sjsu.edu.
  • IGateways refund policy applies to health insurance payments if there are no claims for the coverage period.

Please note that the processing fee for insurance refunds is $35, unlike the $75 processing fee for IG tuition refunds.
