CPGE Student Success Center
About Us
The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) Student Success Center is
here to help our undergraduate students achieve academic success. We work with students
to develop plans that help them attain their personal, educational, and professional
goals through academic advising, peer mentoring and tutoring. We also provide guidance
on academic probation and other SJSU policies and procedures.
Services
Starting Fall 2021, advising appointments, drop-in advising, and Live Chat will be
available virtually.
Virtual Appointments are available for:
- General Education Advising
- Academic Planning
- Probation Advising
- Prospective Student Advising (for transfer students and new students)
- Change of Major (for SJSU students only)
Schedule an appointment with an advisor by logging in to Spartan Connect (EAB) and making an appointment with the CPGE Student Success Center. For further guidance, please review the how-to Instructions.
Virtual Drop-in Advising are sessions of 10 to 15 minutes for answers to quick questions. For academic plans, it is recommended that you make an appointment instead of drop-in.
Live Chat is a virtual chatting platform for quick questions about general information that should last 5 to 10 minutes each session. For academic plans, it is recommended that you make an appointment instead of using Live Chat. To get started, click the blue icon at the bottom right of this webpage.

- Thursdays 11 am to 12 pm
