Certificate in Cybersecurity, Core Technologies
The Computer Science Department offers a 9-unit advanced (graduate) certificate program to students to advance knowledge of cybersecurity. The program aligns with nationally defined knowledge areas and prepares students to become a professional in cybersecurity and information assurance. Upon completion of this certificate, students will be exposed to the following topics:
- Computer methods
- Cryptography/Computer Security
- Topics in Information Security
This certificate is valuable for a wide variety of computer and software engineer jobs requiring or preferring candidates with advanced knowledge in cybersecurity and/or information assurance.
