EOP
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides assistance to first-generation, limited-income undergraduate students in the following areas of support: academic, career, financial, professional, and personal growth.
ADVISING
EOP Student Success Advisors support students by offering intentional and holistic
support services as well as multifaceted community engagement.

Students are paired with an EOP Advisor beginning their first semester at SJSU until they complete their undergraduate degree

EOP advising approaches students through an equity-based lens withan understanding of their academic, social, and professional needs
PAGES
Personal and Academic Growth Experiences (PAGEs) support students' growth and sense
of belonging by connecting them to EOP/SJSU services and resources.
- Students engaged in their education develop the skills necessary to achieve their personal, professional, and academic goals
SUMMER BRIDGE (SB)
Summer Bridge is the first opportunity for new first-time, first-year (FTFY) EOP students
to close the gap between high school and college.

Through intentional events and activities students develop the competencies and confidence they need to begin their journeys at SJSU

Students will engage in and practice skills to help them navigate their college experiences and campus resources while building a support network and meaningful relationships with other members of the EOP community
MENTORING
EOP students are empowered through meticulously designed bi-weekly meetings with trained
peer mentors who provide motivation, accountability, engagement with campus, assistance
with a "college road map," and a sense of community.

EOP pairs new and continuing students in the following programs: New Student Mentoring (NSM), I Can/I Will (ICIW), and Academic Coaching for Educational Success (ACES)
