Workshops
We have a lot of exciting and informative workshops this semester offered in partnership by the Counseling and Psychological Services Department (CAPS), Peer Connections, the Career Center, and The Wellness Center. Workshops are typically held on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm and some Wednesdays from 12:00-1:30pm in the MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center, unless otherwise noted.

Ready, Set, Goal! S.M.A.R.T. Goals Workshop
Wednesday, February 10th, 12-1:30pm
@Student Services Center room 604
Hosted by Peer Connections, this workshop focuses on goal setting. Goal Setting is a tool that creates a path and action plan for you to meet your goals. This workshop provides information about what goal setting in college looks like and tips on how to make S.M.A.R.T. goals.
How to Apply for Scholarships

With the rising cost of tuition and student expenses, financial aid is becoming more and more essential. Attend this workshop to learn where to look for scholarships and how to apply for them. Hosted by the Financial Aid Office.
You & SJSU: Navigating the University
Tuesday, February 23rd, 3-4:30pm
For many first-generation students, finding a department, connecting with someone to talk to about an issue, or trying to figure out where you “fit” on campus can make college feel like an overwhelming experience. This workshop will offer advice on how to your way, as well as outline several campus departments and available resources. Hosted by CAPS.

In this workshop, you will learn how to use the Growth Mindset to face personal and academic challenges and hear the stories of how SJSU students overcame adversity in order to succeed in their first year.
