Since 1932, Phi Kappa Phi has supported the educational pursuits of its members through robust award and grant programs. The Society awards $1.3 million each year to outstanding students, members, chapters and institutions.

Fellowships
Established in 1932, the Fellowship Program annually provides funding to first-year graduate students who are pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees across all academic disciplines. Endorsed by their local chapter, Phi Kappa Phi Fellows go on to study at some of the nation’s top graduate schools.
Each year, Phi Kappa Phi awards 54 Fellowships of $8,500 each, six of $20,000 each and two of $35,000 to members entering their first year of graduate or professional study.
Grants
Study Abroad Grants Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. One hundred twenty-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year.
- Dec. 15, 2023: Application portal opens
- March 15, 2024: Application deadline
- May 1, 2024: Recipients will be notified
- May 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025: Study Abroad program must begin during this time
Graduate Research Grants: The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi annually awards 20 grants of up to $1,500 to active members attending graduate school. These grants provide funding for research in support of career development opportunities.

Literacy Grants program was initiated to mobilize members and resources of Phi Kappa Phi and the higher education community to champion literacy initiatives. Grants of up to $2,500 are available.
