Please note this process can take at least 2 weeks from the time of proposal approval and/or submission of the program cost form (whichever comes later).

Faculty Led Advisory Committee

The SJSU Faculty-Led Advisory Committee (FLAC) is composed of faculty and staff who have previous experience with international programs and/or have led Faculty-Led Programs. The purpose of the committee is to review and provide feedback to the Director of Study Abroad & Away (SAA) on proposals submitted by faculty to lead Faculty-Led Programs through the Study Abroad and Away office. Committee members lend their expertise to provide a critical, holistic review of proposals and ensure that the programs proposed are adhering to the educational and programmatic standards expected of all Study Abroad and Away programs.
