Rapid Rehousing Program
In partnership with the Bill Wilson Center, SJSU Cares offers the Rapid Rehousing Program to support students experiencing homelessness in securing and maintaining stable, permanent housing. Through a combination of case management and financial assistance, the program helps students transition into independent living while building long-term housing stability.
Program Support Includes:
- Collaborative Case Management
Ongoing support from SJSU Cares and community partners to help navigate housing, financial planning, and personal goals - Tiered Rental Support
Financial assistance that gradually decreases over time as students increase their financial independence - Lease Independence
Support in securing and maintaining a lease in the student’s name
