Academic Holds

Holds are placed on a students account for a variety of reasons. Some academic holds prevent students from enrolling in classes until they are removed. More information on how to view holds can be found on the Office of the Registrar's website.

Exploratory Student Success Center Holds

The Exploratory SSC puts a UASC advising hold on all undeclared students accounts every Fall and Spring semester. To remove this hold students must meet with a Student Academic Success Specialist (SASS).

UASC Hold (Less than 60 units earned)

Undeclared Frosh and Sophomore students should check their registered email address regularly for instructions on how to attend a registration workshop or make an appointment with a SASS on Spartan Connect to remove this hold.

*Students cannot register for classes with this hold on their account.

UASC Hold (More than 60 units earned)

Undeclared Junior and Senior students must meet with their assigned SASS to removed this hold.

Academic Notice Advising
