Exploratory Drop-In Advising

Fall 2026 Undeclared Drop-In Advising 

The Exploratory Student Success Center will offer drop-in advising through the FALL semester. Drop-in advising operates on a first-come, first-served basis for quick 10-15 minute questions.

We offer drop-in advising for Exploratory/undeclared students ONLY!

  1. Students must sign up through this form: https://bit.ly/Exploratory-DropInAdvising.
  2. Please closely monitor your SJSU inbox, as we will send the meeting link once you are next in the queue.

*Note: Drop-ins are available only during the dates and times listed. You will NOT be able to get your advising hold removed by attending drop-ins.

If your situation requires more in-depth support, please schedule an appointment through Spartan Connect or by emailing your assigned advisor directly.

The Exploratory Student Success team only offers drop-in advising hours during the scheduled posted times. Advisors may not be able to accomadate a student outside of their drop-in hours without an appointment. The student will be asked to schedule a future appointment or attend the next posted drop-in hours.

Check-in Process

In-Person Drop-Ins: Complete the Google Form above. Then, check-in at the front desk next to Graduate Enrollment Management, located in the Student Services Center (under North Parking Garage).

Virtual Drop-Ins: Please complete the Google Form above and monitor your email for the Zoom link.
