Ashley Seering is an award-winning filmmaker originally from Illinois. She holds an MFA in Film and Television Producion from Loyola Marymount University and a BA in Mass Communicaions from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her films have screened at fesivals all over the world including Slamdance, Big Sky Documentary Film Fesival, and St. Louis Internaional Film Fesival. She is a six-time regional EMMY nominee. Her creaive work usually explores social jusice and historical themes. Currently, she teaches film producion at San Jose State University in the Department of Film, Theatre, and Dance.
