Learn About Our Services

Our services are developmentally appropriate, equity-minded, evidence-based, and culturally sustaining for each child and family. We focus on children and youth ages 0-17 years and their families. Using a primary prevention model, we use screenings to identify need for evaluations, provide brief services, and targeted referrals to community resources and services. Educational programs are available in individual, family, and group formats both in-person, and via telehealth. Specific services and more information are included below.

We also research our programs' outcomes and community responses to continually improve our services, learn how we can better collaborate with and support the community, and share lessons learned with people who do similar work in other communities.

Screenings

Screenings help determine if your child needs further evaluation. Through these screenings, we can get a better sense of how we can help you and your child and if further testing is needed. Some screenings we provide evaluate:

  • Development
  • Speech and language
  • Mental and behavioral health
  • Hearing, vision, and oral health

Referral Consultations

If we see that your child and family could benefit from additional support or services, we will share some resources. If you have questions or concerns about cost, time, transportation, language, or anything else, please let us know. We want to help you and your child get the care you need.

Skills Workshops

Small group workshops focus on specific topics where persons can learn more about specific topics and develop skills such as how to manage emotions or stress.

Parent Education

Workshops focus on topics that caregivers will find useful. We identify common concerns and help caregivers develop skills and strategies to support their child. If you have a specific topic you would like to learn about, please let us know!

Individual, Group, Family Counseling

Counseling is one type of support offered as part of therapy services. Counseling is a chance to talk with a qualified adult about anything going on in their life. The goal of therapy is to help you and your child develop new skills to manage challenges.
