Occupational Therapy Workshops for Caregivers

The Occupational Therapy (OT) caregiver workshops are hosted by two occupational therapy doctoral students at the HDCC, who work with caregivers while their child is receiving speech services, providing education and encouraging self-efficacy on how to care for themselves and their child during everyday activities. Workshop topics are focused on providing more support in health management, parenting strategies for children with unique sensory profiles, and a need for connection to resources and social support.
