New MSW On-Campus 3-Year Evening-Only Program

This option ONLY focuses on the Children, Youth, and Families area of interest at this time. If students in this program would like other course options, they must be available for day-time classes and other requirements associated with the specialization or area of interest chosen

Students will be expected to take three classes in each semester of the program in the evening hours (6:00PM to 9:30PM) Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays;

Field internships will be in the 2nd and 3rd year, and is two to three days a week during DAYTIME agency business hours (typically Tuesday and Thursday in 2nd year and Wednesday through Friday through 3rd year).

First Year

Students will be expected to take 3 classes in each semester of the first year in the evening hours of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00-9:30 PM. 

Field internship is held in Year 2 and Year 3 of this program.

Second Year

Students will be expected to take 3 classes in evening hours of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00-9:30 PM.

Field internships will be in the 2nd and 3rd year, and is two to three days a week during DAYTIME agency business hours (typically Tuesday and Thursday in 2nd year and Wednesday through Friday through 3rd year).

Third Year

Students will be expected to take 3 classes in the evening hours of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00-9:30 PM.

Summer Preparation

If you are admitted to the On-Campus Program, please expect to do some summer reading and writing preparation, attend field internship fair, and to attend as many as five days of mandatory orientation 1 to 2 weeks prior to the start of your first semester of classes in August.
