MPH Online Format Advising

MPH Online Student Handbook

Each year a student handbook is updated for students. It contains all the essential information for your MPH program of study and the MPH program in general.

Fieldwork Preceptors

The health educators who supervise MPH fieldwork often become invaluable advisors. These individuals must, per CEPH accreditation requirements, be public health professionals. As you develop your fieldwork plans, you might think of this as an opportunity to be mentored by one of the best in the field.

Alumni Advisors

While not formal advisors to students, our alumni are everywhere — and they have big hearts and lots of advice for students in the program. Feel free to chat with them as you meet them at work, in the community, and at professional or university events. They have been through what you are going through, they know the faculty, they know the university, and they know what it feels like to have that MPH behind their name. Ask for their advice!

The MPH Student Google Group

This is the most important communication vehicle we have in the MPH program. You must check your email for google group messages every day to not miss any important messages even though not everything will be relevant to you. You will also want to regularly check for messages from the MPH-SA Leadership. Their messages will also alert you to key dates, upcoming activities, opportunities for students, and other student related needs. The google group is the most timely way of making sure everyone has crucial information.
